care guide
Make sure that your watch will look and work perfectly for many years by following the care recommendations.
Your timepiece should be serviced regularly to ensure perfect durability. How often depends on how you look after your watch and how often the watch is in use. But it should at least be serviced every 4 or 5 years. We also recommend that you do a yearly water resistancy check.
You may obtain service by bringing the watch to an Authorized Platina Dealer or sending the watch in the original box to Platina Watch & Co together with the Original Platina Watch & Co Warranty Certificate with date of purchase and stamp by an Authorized Platina Deailer and/or Platina Watch & Co.
You may be responsible for transportation costs as well as during the shipping. We therefore recommend that any shipments include certified delivery and insurance.
Salt Water
After using your watch in salt water, make sure to rinse it under fresh water. Dry off with a soft cloth.
Perfumes
Avoid using any chemical products (acids, perfumes and cosmetics) directly on the watch.
Dirt
If you may get any dirt on the case. Rinse it well under fresh water. Dry off with a clean soft cloth.
Temperature
Avoid leaving your watch where it is exposed to large temperature variations, humidity, the sun and strong magnetic fields
Leather
Watch straps made in leather should not be in contact with water. For cleaning, only use products specially made for leather.
Service
Make sure to service your watch around every 4 or 5 year. We also recommend that you do a yearly water resistancy check.
